Hey all! 

Got some fun shows coming up this summer. On June 10th, I'm playing a spot as a "side stage" performer at Open Sky Music Festival, and in July I'm doing 5 gigs with Fuck Brother Jack Ashford. I'll be singing with Jack and his band in Saskatchewan in June, and playing both weekends of the Capital Ex here in Edmonton alongside him. Those dates will be the 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of July. We will do two sets a night, and Jack will join us for the first. It'll be a big ol' Motown review... playing with me will be Freddy B, Brad Simons and Dan Churchill. 

Looking forward to upcoming releases from my production company (www.onemoremile.ca) this fall. I think we're starting to break some ground!

Just a heads up to all the music lovers in Edmonton, I've been working at the Red Piano as a regular performer for the last few weeks and plan to continue there over the course of the summer

On a more personal note, I'm playing my own show in Edmonton at Accent Cafe on 104 and Whyte (just north of Whyte) on April 12th with Kelly Nall. We'd love to see you there!

Working on a lot of new material right now, and extremely excited to see where my new project goes. After a vacation in February, I'm ready to kick things up a notch. Invested in a CP-Helicon Voicelive Touch for vocal effects in live shows!

Hosting the Druid open mic on March 6th, and playing a solo show at The Carrot on March 16th. Hope to see you there!

After a crazy month of corporate shows (mostly in Calgary), it's time to kick off 2012 with a week of ska gigs at Blues on Whyte in Edmonton! 

New music has been in the works for a while and now a few timelines are being nailed down... there will be a lot of new material this year. Songwriting is an art that comes in phases for me (as for a lot of artists I've spoken to), and December was a great phase for me! 

I think the year will be a big year of growth in my business chops... I'm really hoping to get a handle on the marketing side of things. Wish me luck... these things dont come naturally!

My first touring experience is officially over. 

Jory, Fred, Arun and I played at On The Rocks in Edmonton on Sunday night and had a blast! It was good to get back on stage with the guys. It was the last show of the tour, and I have sent off my Final Report to the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Done, done, done!

I think this tour helped me grow more than any other musical experience I've had, other than the production of my album last summer. I was so lucky to have been helped out by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts on this one, because without their support, this wouldn't have been possible! (Well, it would have been... but I'd be pretty deep in debt by now...)

So now we're back to real life, until I can find another excuse to get on the road! Meanwhile I'll be playing a few gigs with MuSKAfa in Edmonton and with The Mocking Shadows in Calgary. I'm looking forward to NOT having to be a front man for a bit... it's always refreshing. 

Day off in Kelowna today, then we make our way to Penticton and the Vancouver area. So excited to see everyone out there. 

So far so good! Amazing developments on tour so far Tonight we are at Lorenzo's.. Woo!

I recently joined a new ska band called King Muskafa... and we're playing at Blues on Whyte in Edmonton Alberta from August 28th through 31st! 

That means...

Four nights to come out and get your dance on! 

Immediately following, I'll be playing a chill and more intimate night at The Blue Chair with Kelly Nall.

I'm also looking forward to getting Kelly into the studio where I'll be co-producing her first demo! Let me tell you, this girl can write... stay tuned for updates! 

So, Saturday night I did my first video shoot with Ryan Ebenger and his friend James. We did some work in and outside, and used some natural lighting as well as studio lighting. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Also looking forward to planning out the year. I have a lot of new projects on the go.

Back from Saskatchewan as of yesterday (happy Fathers Day!). I had a blast in Saskatoon, and Lydia's was a great experience. Thanks to everyone who came out to check out the music this weekend. I was honoured to be sharing the stage with the Kinjo Brothers!

It'll be a busy week with One More Mile (www.onemoremile.ca) and then we're back on the road on Friday to Lethbridge (Tongue n Groove) and Calgary! I'm looking forward to another house concert, and it will be my first time at the Ironwood in Cow-town.

It's already June and I'm stoked to play Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Lethbridge, Calgary and Red Deer!

Here's hoping I can book some shows in BC when July and August hit.

I'm also looking forward to the upcoming projects with One More Mile, the production company I have been working with recently. We have a few tricks up our sleeve, I'll be linking the updates to this site.

After spending a week doing some tracking with Freddy B, I've got a couple new tracks on the go!

We're aiming for a much more experimental sound, and I'm really excited. Who knows where the next album will take me? All I can say is I'm getting really into programming and messing around with funky effects!

I'm looking forward to playing at Mitzi's this weekend, as it has been a while since I played with the guys-- I have been focusing primarily on my final recital at Humber College

The final went fantastically and youtube clips will be posted asap! 

Time to crack down on the booking in Central Canada. 

Finally!

Looks like things are coming together-- I can comfortably say that I am going to be touring Central and Western Canada in May and June. I'm going as far East as Ottawa and as far West as Nanaimo, BC. 

Sorry, Manitoba, but we won't see any of you...

But we'll hit up Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC out west and start out by touring the GTA! 

I've never been so excited for a road trip. I know this experience will change my life. I hope things keep coming together, I've been working very hard to get this far. I'll keep updating my page here as the time approaches, and hopefully you can make it to a show or two!

Hey Edmonton!

I dare you to shovel your way to Brixx Bar tonight for a GREAT show, starting with Fender Case (sorry ladies, he's taken!), and ending with Chris Tabbert Regret!

I'll be releasing my first album, as you know. I'll be playing around 10:30pm, and its going to be a really fun time. Good food, good people, good music.

I hope the weather doesn't put you all off. I had to dig my way out of an alley today and spent 2 hours shoveling snow... so I expect no less from you ;)
